Hello,

I am a walking artist and eco-therapist with experience in site-specific, community co-design projects.

It begins with walking - through an embodied way of experiencing place, I create walks and site-responsive works that are intimate and reflective of locality. From slow, micro walking to long distance pilgrimage, a walk for me is a way to tune in and open up creative conversation about how we can connect more fully and belong ( if only momentarily ) to where we are.

I find energy and enthusiasm in working with communities to nourish reciprocal relationship with nature, rooted in care. At present, I am interested in the cyclical nature of care and how it impacts us physically, emotionally, spiritually and creatively. I am currently studying permaculture and learning more fully how to embed permaculture ethics into my life and practice.

My practice has shifted over the years, but primarily; I walk, forage, grow herbs, draw, write, make inks and create time based works. Aligning with seasons - states of burgeoning, states of decay, I connect with the landscape through momentary exchanges / interventions. I am interested in a light touch and a regenerative, non extractive way of making art.

Eco-therapy is woven through my participatory walks, workshops and courses, building spaces for a deeper, collective understanding of our relationship with the natural environment. ( please go to eco-therapy on the drop down menu for more information )
